DESCRIPTION:WHERE: 9-11am at Middlebridge Preserve\, 95 Middlebridge Road\, Narragansett\, RI \n\nAll ages are invited to join Narrow River Preservation Association for this hands-on exploration of fish\, shellfish\, crabs and other inhabitants of Narrow (Pettaquamscutt) River. We will use nets large and small to catch river creatures and examine them in touch tanks and under microscopes. Experts and guide books will be on hand.\n\nFREE and open to the public- FUN for all ages!  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. \nYou’ll have more fun if you can get wet.   Watershoes\, boots\, sandals or shoes that can get wet are recommended.  The gathering area is a field with grass and dirt surfaces. Wheelchairs are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Bark on the Beach is Back for a 13th Year!\n\nBark on the Beach is a one-mile\, people & dog walk-a-thon that supports Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) programming and directly impacts the approximately 600 pets that will come through our doors this year. \nThis highly anticipated event funds some of our great programs\, such as local Adoptions\, Fostering\, and our Bark and Ride program which transports pets from overcrowded Southern shelters to the safety of ARRI. \nBark on the Beach welcomes over 250 local animal lovers and their pets annually. Our goal is to raise $42\,000 as we capture the largest dog photo shoot ever in Rhode Island! \nSupporters and participants will enjoy a festive atmosphere including prizes\, food\, refreshments\, amazing Wag-Swag Bags\, fun activities\, rewards for top teams\, & MORE!
