The munay – ki rites are a series of Incan blessings bestowed to humankind at the time of great change on this planet by the Laika tribe of the Andes mountains. This series of classes is designed to teach students the stories of the rites, the symbolism of these rites, how these rites are celebrated and how to prepare as an individual to receive the nine rites of the Munay ki in traditional Incan ceremony. After completion of these first three classes one is ready to receive the rites, but the second set of three classes is designed to teach the student how to grow, nurture and expand these rites in their energy field, their personal lives, their community and their world. These classes are an experiential way to step back into time and participate in ancient traditional ceremony as they did thousands of years ago! Come join us and learn how to heal and age differently and step into infinity as the ancient medicine men and women have been doing since the beginning of time.
The classes will be offered on 6 consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30 -8:30 pm in the Museum gallery. Session 1 is April 2, 9, 16. Session 2 is April 23, 30, May 7. The rites are given on May 14 and 21. Cost is $120 per session, no charge for the Rites. The leader for these classes is Karen Bruscini who is an Energy Therapist Master Instructor and practices Medical and Spiritual Intuitive Shamanic work.
